In her work and communication with the public, Emily seeks to promote equality for women and LGBTQIA+ folks. She advocates for quality dependency care, supports historically non-dominate communities, and prioritizes working with organizations and people who share these values and seek to eradicate violence, poverty, and discrimination.

Current Washington State Representative skilled in speech delivery. Serving as Majority Assistant Whip, Vice-Chair of the House Commerce and Gaming Committee, and a member of the House Transportation Committee and Housing, Children, Youth, and Families Committee.

Brings a history of strong leadership to every organization she chooses to join. Including Associated Student Body positions starting in middle and high school, College Sorority President, grassroots groups leaders, serving as president of the National Women’s Political Caucus of Washington, and being appointed and elected to serve her community at the Washington State Capitol.
